Lisa Duffy is the author of The Salt House, named by Real Simple as a Best Book of the Month upon its June release. It was also included in Bustle’s “17 Best Debut Novels by Women” in 2017, selected as a She Reads Book Club pick, and chosen by Refinery29 as one of the best beach reads of 2017.
Her second novel, This Is Home, received a starred review from Publishers Weekly and was a 2019 Publishers Weekly favorite book club pick. Her third novel, My Kind of People, was named one of the most anticipated books of May 2020 and was released by Atria Books to rave reviews.
Lisa received her MFA in creative writing from the University of Massachusetts. Her short fiction was nominated for a Pushcart Prize, and her work has appeared in numerous publications, including Writer’s Digest.
She lives in the Boston area with her husband and three children.
